      Platform Overview – Key Roles & Tools

      Vim Connect
      Vim’s platform and integration layer that surfaces core and third-party workflows directly within the EHR.

      Console
      A web-based portal used by designated admins to manage user access, monitor activity, and enable applications.

      Core Applications
      Vim-built tools available in Vim Connect that support care delivery (e.g., Care Insights, Clinical Data Exchange).

      Third-Party Applications
      Apps built by external partners and available through the Vim Canvas Marketplace. Integrated directly into Vim Connect.

      User
      Anyone with a Vim account. Most users interact with Vim Connect within the EHR.

      Admin / Console Admin
      A user with access to Console who manages user setup, app permissions, and organizational settings.

      Owner
      The first Console user to activate access for a clinic. Often the primary admin or decision-maker.
