Vim Connect is our platform—the core technology that makes all Vim applications and services available to you. It sits securely on top of your EHR and enables real-time access to clinical tools and insights—delivered directly within your existing workflow, with no need to switch systems or log in elsewhere.

Once installed, Vim Connect activates applications, like Vim's Care Insights, allowing clinicians to access information directly at the point of care.

What Vim Connect does

Vim Connect expands what your EHR can do by connecting it to the broader healthcare ecosystem. This includes access to payer data, care gaps, and clinical insights needed at the point of care. Vim Connect also supports third-party point-of-care applications. All tools are embedded directly into the EHR, helping reduce context switching and streamline everyday workflows.

How clinicians know Vim Connect is active

The Vim heart icon appears inside the EHR when Vim Connect is running. The icon appears gray when Vim Connect is active and turns blue when actionable data—such as gaps in care or prior authorization needs—is available for the patient in view.

Who Vim Connect is for

Clinicians and end users interact with Vim Connect directly in the EHR to access applications and insights. Admins manage configuration and permissions to ensure users see the right applications and data based on their role and workflow.
